Chromebooks Needed, Help!

My students need a Chromebook . We have 16 and need 6 more so our class has a total of 22. That would allow each student their own Chromebook.

My Students

My class is filled with excited children that love to learn. Our school has a diverse population with many parents that have just come to our wonderful country. The students have families that do not speak English, so the children only have the classroom to help them with the standards and benchmarks required in 2nd grade.

Our district has made it a priority for students to be able to go on computers and support their education using programs like I-Ready, which assesses and teaches math and reading.

As well as Code.org and many other educational sites.

Our problem is that our class does not have enough Chromebooks so every child can have one . I currently have 16 but need 6 more to make a total of 22. This is where donors choose comes in and hopefully you generous people.

My Project

Having enough Chromebooks for the entire class would make a huge difference in how I can teach my students.

They will not longer have to share a computer with someone else.

This is huge and enables students to work at their own pace and for me to individualize their learning.

By having enough Chromebooks in my classroom I will be able to teach whole class with every child. Also, the students will be able to research an endangered animal and gather information from various sites on the internet. We do this at the end of the year and it is a big hit at Open House.
