My Students

The coronavirus pandemic has put a damper on many things in our world today but teaching must continue. Teaching as we knew it in March will be changed forever and now teachers, students, and parents must prepare for the future. One thing that we must prepare for is blended classrooms. It looks like we must prepare for both in school and remote learning activities.

This Chromebook will add more technology to our classroom.

I hope to continue to write projects for technology so that we can soon become a one on one classroom. We are about getting close to this goal.

While this Chromebook will be used in the physical classroom, it may have to travel too, depending on the needs of my students. I want my students to have the resources that they need to succeed in 4th grade and beyond. In the summer months, this chromebook will be used by me to teach using Zoom or Google Meet with my students who I have continued remote learning with. When we return to the classroom, it will be traveling with kids who need technology for learning.

My Project

Both teaching and learning from home has been a big change since March 2020. While we have hit a few snags, overall I welcome the change and love teaching through technology.

My students have been sharing limited technology throughout the year in the physical classroom and now I would like to be able to get more technology in the hands of my students.

It will be very important now more than ever to try to keep student sharing to a minimum. I am hoping to have enough technology to make this happen by posting a few technology projects for Chromebooks.
