Chromebooks for Math

My students need Chromebooks that will stay in the Math classroom.

  • $939 goal

Hooray! This project is fully funded

My Students

My students walk into Math class every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. They are eager to connect the math skills they are learning to the real world they live in.

My students love to use technology in math!

They like to play math games to practice the math skills they’ve learned, watch instructional video lessons, and use math websites to create and calculate. They also love to see how mathematics is applied in many areas of the real world they live in.

My Project

We need three more Chromebooks that stay in the math department. Having Chromebooks for math classes will open the door to many different online math resources for the students to enhance their learning. Currently, we have to share a few Chromebook carts with the whole school, and it has been challenging to schedule them for when we need them. Since we have to share with 25+ classes, our time has been greatly limited.

Having extra Chromebooks for math classes will allow students to explore many effective math websites to practice the skills they have learned and utilize online resources to extend their learning.

It will also allow the students to discover how mathematics are used in various areas of the real world. These Chromebooks will be a great resource for not only the mainstream students but for the gifted students who can use the challenge as well as the students who need the extra help.
