Having Chromebooks for math classes will open the door to many different online math resources for the students to enhance their learning. Currently, we have to share a few Chromebook carts with the whole school, and it has been challenging to schedule them for when we need them. Since we have to share with 25+ classes, our time has been greatly limited. Having an extra set of Chromebooks for math classes will allow students to explore many effective math websites to practice the skills they have learned and utilize online resources to extend their learning. It will also allow the students to discover how mathematics are used in various areas of the real world. It’s also a great resource for not only the mainstream students but also for the gifted students who can use the challenge as well as the students who need the extra help.
