My Students

My students are amazing and also my inspiration to find new and more ways to teach them. I love their zest for learning. I just recently moved to the fourth grade from kindergarten and discovered they still have the same needs. They need hands on material to cognitively understand concepts being learned. I love how many of my students are "hands-on" learners. As an educator I want to be able to give them the opportunities to have a variety of tools to use.

My Project

Chromebooks will be used in my classroom for project based learning. They will allow students to reach beyond the classroom and learn what is outside of the school gates. Students will work collaboratively while learning about real world problems.

21st century skills are all about technology.

Technology now has the ability to run most of our lives. We have refrigerators that tell a person what is inside or what to buy at the grocery store. Doorbells peek outside and talk to who is at the door. I want my students to be ready to invent the next tech tool to be used.
