My Students

My students are interested taking their learning to the 21st century by combining their learning with current technology. All my students are interested in learning about business and love the challenging business scenarios in the cloud-based simulations we have been given access.

I love how enthusiastic and hardworking my students are while completing the challenging business simulations.

It is very rewarding watching them work collaboratively together when they encounter some of the more difficult simulation scenarios. They learn very quickly that teamwork is an essential skill in the business world.

My Project

We have access to cloud-based, educational simulations for business (food service, hospitality, retailing, sports management and manufacturing) and personal finance. The simulations are designed for today’s digitally-native students. The simulations are visual, interactive business simulation games that teach core business and marketing concepts by allowing students to test out their case study ideas while running their own virtual businesses. Students are given challenging text and math concepts that are essential to understanding the basics of business. This kind of thinking is best taught through rich, detailed, visual simulations which pack years of experience into hours and days. Compared to older, passive methods such as watching videos or reading text, learning through simulation is more appealing to students and more effective in achieving useful skill development.

These simulations give students from all cultures, areas, and various incomes an opportunity to learn about basic business concepts.
