Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We use Chromebooks almost every day in my 8th-grade class. Other teachers use them as well, so some days my students have multiple hours of screen time.

I would like to have a class set of privacy screens for these two reasons:

One is to reduce eye strain. Combining our fluorescent lights with technology use can be a bit much for some of my students. Privacy screen filters can help with that strain.

Two, to limit cheating. With paper tests, cheating is a bit harder. Almost all of my tests are online now, and it is a lot easier for students to glance over and see someone's screen. Privacy screen filters can help to limit what other students can see.

Technology is great, and I love to give my students opportunities to enhance their computer skills, but it does come at a small cost. Please help me to help my students!
