My students need desk top sorters to use as Chromebook organizers so they have a place to put their laptops when they are not working on them while in our classroom.

My Students
I have 28 unique and diverse fifth graders this year. We attend a Title I school where students typically have parents working more than one job.
Many of my students come to school needing extra love and attention to help them thrive in a caring and supportive environment.
We complete many engaging activities together to keep them energized and excited about learning which includes utilizing technology every day.
Each student that I have comes with their own challenges, and I want to be a teacher who can set up students for success.
My Project
Our school has been granted the funding to go one-to-one with Chromebooks. Fifth grade is an excellent time to become a digital citizen and utilize technology in all subjects! We use our Chromebooks on a daily basis for math, reading, writing, and social studies.
Students love being engaged with the use of a Chromebook.
Having a place to put our Chromebooks when we are not using them in the classroom will help keep our room organized and will prevent Chromebooks from falling on the floor or breaking. Currently, students have to keep them on their desks or put them in their cubbies where they store their other books. With the use of a Chromebook organizer, students will be able to keep their Chromebooks safe and will learn more about how important organization is.
