My Students

I have a creative group of students. These students have a desire to learn. They love activities and projects. These truly engage them. They strive to do well in school. Many of them have outside jobs and participate in extracurricular activities. Most of the students plan on going to college.

Some of the students will be first in their family to attend college.

Daily, they work on skills that will help them succeed in school and in life. They know they have the community behind them. When they are not working hard in school, they are working in their community. Many even work after school jobs to support their family and community. The school is behind them and is willing to do all that is needed to help them complete their dreams.

My Project

My students need an extra Chromebook. We have a classroom set. However, I would love to have an extra one to use for classroom discussions. We can pass it around with ease to look up information. It would also be used for small group research. Students could check it out when needed. This Chromebook would help build in technology skills. It would also help with college and career readiness along with strengthen social and group skills. With the classroom ones, they are assigned and checked in and out. This one we could have more free range to accomplish goals within the classroom.
