My Students

My student was born with a tragic disease (Cerebral Palsy) and has been in and out of school and hospitals all of his life. He is an excellent reader and has had wonderful support from his family. His family has had enormous financial concerns over the years. Technology would be greatly beneficial to him. He would be less lonely in his educational pursuits plus, possibly, less aware of his handicaps. He would be able to take this technology with him to appointments.

My Project

He will be able to look up different ways to explain math problems. He will be able to participate in learning activities that he would normally not be able to do. Education will become more "alive" for him. He will be able to easily travel to other parts of the world through this technology. He will be able to correct grammar without having to balance a pencil. He will be able to get further instruction when the home bound teacher(me) is not able to come to his house.

He will feel less isolated if he has a Chromebook to keep him educationally stimulated.
