My Students

Our school is located in the small rural community of WA. Our school is a small family type environment. We are unique in that kindergarten through 12th grade are in one building.

My students rely heavily on the school to provide technology.

As we are a rural farming community our students lack the technological opportunities that larger schools and communities can provide. Incorporating technology in the lives of my students is critical to their success in school and life.

My Project

We need eight Chromebooks to utilize Google Classroom for their learning. My students will be able to use Google Classroom more efficiently with Chrome books, along with improving typing skills, presentation skills, and time management.

The Chrome books will help bridge the gap between school and home.

For example they will be able to access the Google Classroom from home. Students will be able to complete assignments using the Chrome books from school and home.

This opportunity will prepare the students for the rigorous demands of middle and high school. Students will be able to incorporate technology into their daily lives in the classroom which will help increase student achievement school wide.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
