I teach a fantastic group of fourth grade students in a diverse town in New Hampshire.

We are so lucky that our school has recently been able to purchase us a class set of Chromebook computers. The students have been using these daily across all curriculum areas and they are just so excited about it! However, we are in need of a proper storage cart and charging station. Currently we are using an older model that is broken and does not have enough space or outlets for the amount of computers that we now have.

My Project

Although I've got some great fourth grade volunteers working to keep the cart organized as best they can, we've got way too many computers and cords crossing paths; imagine how tough this is for the kids to keep organized! The class is thrilled to have these laptops for math practice, typing stories, and learning games, and the computers give us so many added enrichment opportunities that we wouldn't otherwise have.

Having a Chromebook compatible charging cart in the classroom would make such a difference in our learning.

It would enable us to keep our Chromebooks charged and easily incorporate technology into all areas of our learning. More importantly, it will help us to make learning fun!
