My Project

Individual student Chromebooks - simultaneously some of the most vital and frustrating objects for students (and teachers) in the classroom. Students rely on their Chromebooks for so much throughout the school day. Projects, reading, assignments, test prep., assessments, and more, their Chromebooks have become an integral part of our classroom environment. However, not a day goes by without one of our students yelling, "My Chromebook is out of power!" or "I'm at 2%!"

Unfortunately, while we are lucky enough to have Chromebooks for all our students, the same cannot be said for effective charging solutions.

We have chargers in makeshift "stations" around the room, but cords easily become tangled, plugs do not stay in the wall socket, students can get hurt trying to fix the plug problems themselves, and often Chromebooks are plugged in but somehow not charging.

This is where you come in. Our students would LOVE to have Chromebook charging stations that are safe, easy to use, and effective. Instead of constantly worrying about their Chromebook's battery percentage, they can save their concern for more important things like upcoming assignments. We would love your help to make this vision a reality!
