My Students

My students come from a rural community where grit and hard work are shown every day on the farm, in their homes, and at school.

I teach seventh, eighth, and ninth grade mathematics and sponsor numerous extracurricular activities (Junior High Scholar Bowl, High School National Honor Society, and Math League). I have high expectations for my students and use Whole Brain research techniques to make learning memorable and fun.

My Project

My students are blessed to have Chromebooks checked out to them by our school. Unfortunately, we sometimes have Chromebooks that will not work when we need them to or are in the repair shop getting fixed. My students use their Chromebooks nearly every day in my mathematics classroom to complete quizzes and tests. When a student's Chromebook is not working or in the shop, the student gets behind in their work.

Having an extra Chromebook on hand for students to use when their Chromebook is unavailable will allow my students to participate in class and finish class work when they otherwise would not be able to.

I know having this extra Chromebook in my classroom will benefit my students and keep the class flowing smoothly.
