My students need the Chromebooks to provide opportunities for them to learn about social studies current events, to research topics, and to engage in group learning projects.
Do you remember what it was like to really become involved in something you wanted to learn about? My middle school students are eager to learn and explore new learning and information. They thrive with hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think and work together to solve real issues and problems.
My student population is very diverse from students who struggle to learn to students who learn easily.
As their teacher, I want to provide them with the best learning environment possible and meet the needs of every student. This is my challenge and motivation to seek out better ways to meet their learning styles. I am working with a new group of students this fall and I want them to walk in from day one with a vibrant, engaging learning environment.
My Project
Chromebooks have become one of the best ways to bring the world into the classroom. Technology is a highly motivating and engaging resource for student learning. Through this project, students will be able to conduct research, obtain factual information, and explore various social studies topics. Students will also be able to collaborate on meaningful social studies projects and visit places they may never see in person.
These treasured resources will enable my students to enter the world of history, government, economics, geography, and current events.
My students will become engaged and active learners in the classroom. The project will greatly increase student learning opportunities. Thank you for your support!
