See what Ms. Adams is requestingMy students need 2 HP Chromebooks to enhance their learning through technology. The Chromebooks will be put to great use as students engage in various activities, as well as research and create projects throughout the year.

My class is full of fun, lively, and enthusiastic first graders! Like all kids this age, my students have a natural love of technology and anything that is dazzling and interactive on the screen! Teaching them in a fun and innovative way keeps me on my toes and in constant search of the next "cool" mechanism!
We have created a love for learning in this classroom, but most importantly we have a love for learning in many different ways!
Whether it is spending time listening or reading a good book or using computers to create something cool, we strive to illustrate our knowledge in an innovative way!
We would love for you to join us as a partner in our classroom and help us reach our goals for this school year!
Engaging, innovative, and interactive lessons...these are just a few of the examples of the multitude of ways that we will put these new Chromebooks to work in our classroom!
Implementing technology in the classroom is a powerful tool, but it is extremely difficult to do on a daily basis with only four desktop computers.
Google Classroom is an amazing platform that I would like to use for students to work together, communicate with me as well as their peers, and publish their work, but we do not get to use it as often as I would like. Getting a Chromebook into the hands of each of my students is my ultimate goal, but it starts with a few! These 2 Chromebooks is the beginning.
Part of teaching students in this day and age is realizing that we must prepare them for the 21st-century workplace. Outside of the classroom, most students do not get to engage with technology other than a simple cell phone. The more my students can use a computer, the more practice they get with typing and word processing skills which will come in handy later in their lives!
