My students are a great group of students who are eager to learn. They are an enthusiastic group and learn through various styles. Currently, they love working with technology and hands-on materials. We do experiments, construct models, make projects, and work in groups or pairs to learn cooperatively. My students are very curious and love a challenge!
Technology is a big component to help our class achieve our goals.
We are a suburban school district with one elementary school. Students have access to technology here at school, but not as much as we would like. My students love to research, read, play educational games, and create on the computer. With classroom access to computers, they will be able to do this.
My Project
Classrooms today incorporate technology of all varieties into lessons across all subject areas. There are many opportunities for my students to use technology to enhance their learning. In reading, they can log onto websites to practice reading skills, or research and create projects that align to the current skills we are learning. In math, they can use interactive games to practice math facts. In writing, they can practice answering prompts on the computer in preparation for college and career readiness,. Chromebooks in our fourth grade classroom will significantly help with the completion of key projects the students complete throughout the year.
Adding to our center of Chromebooks would allow my students to have more time to interact with technology in a meaningful way.
Adding technology always brings a smile to our children's faces. I would love to have the opportunity to use technology to make learning more exciting and enjoyable.
