Having Chromebooks in our fourth grade classroom will significantly help with the completion of key projects the students complete throughout the year. The most significant usage would be in literacy. Our reading series has a technology component where students can research and create projects that align to the weekly skills, give students the opportunity to read at their level, or provide enrichment to the students that need it. They would also benefit in the area of math to reinforce skills they are struggling with. With the use of a computer station in the classroom, students will have more opportunities to do research. We would benefit in science and social studies on projects like our Famous Missourian Wax Museum. This will definitely benefit my students who do not have internet service at home.
