My Project

We are always trying to expand our classroom instrument collection! Adding chromatic notes to the instrument sets that we already have opens up a world of new and interesting music that we can play on instruments that we are already familiar with!

This project will help us to add chromatic notes to our hand bells and Boomwhackers.

Adding these extra notes (C#/Db, D#/Eb, G#/Ab, F#/Gb, A#/Bb) means we can play in various modes and keys, we can play more complex chords, and will ultimately lead to expanding and deepening our musical experiences.
