My Students
My students walk into the classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. My students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I make sure to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. Every day is an adventure with many hidden treasures to discover. I feel very fortunate to influence their lives, as they do mine.
My Project
Choice time is the part of the week that many students look forward to the most. This is the time that the students are able to explore, create and build as they choose to work with LEGO sets, Blox and Gears building sets, and Tangrams. My class is full of many creative students that love to use their imagination and love hands-on activities. Through play they are able to explore another side of themselves. They become engineers and make unbelievable creations through trial and error and imagination! The pride that comes over them when they share their work is amazing. This time of the week fills the students with such confidence and reassurance that they can do anything!
