My Students

I am pleased, honored, and excited to be joining a new school community this fall!

The mission of my school is to create a community based upon the core values of mutual respect, kindness, responsibility, and a commitment to being a lifelong learner.

We work to lead all students to reach their fullest potential in a safe, engaging and collaborative environment.

Thank you for your interest in providing for my students what they will need to be successful this year! Any and all support you can offer is deeply appreciated.

My Project

Although I have only begun my journey at my new school, a goal I have heard repeated time and time again is to "build deep libraries" for our students. I have inherited a classroom that has a collection of book that's clearly been decades in the making. While it is wonderful to have a large collection, the class sets that I have inherited are in poor condition and out-dated.

Help me liven up our classroom library with literature that is engaging, relevant, and moving for my students.

I would like to expand on some of our text studies, particularly on the themes of experiences of those with differences, social justice, and inclusion. "Wonder" has been known to work wonders, inspiring people young and old alike to "choose kind."
