Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

The sixth graders from this urban setting are on the verge of breaking the mold in their community.
They are the first to be given the opportunity to stay in the elementary school setting until high school, knowingly giving up electives and honors cohorts. Our students are critical thinkers that exhibit exceptional aptitude for today's educational technology.
My Project
We will be using the iPad mainly for a learning management system called Edmodo. Edmodo is a web-based platform that provides a safe and easy way for my class to connect and collaborate, share content, and access homework, grades and school notices. I can place digital resources for students to safely download. Teachers can create polls for students to answer and even summarize daily lessons for students who were absent. Students can save work in a virtual backpack and have access to it at all times. We would also use it for our class twitter account, glogster, skype, educreations, and many more educationally based applications.
This donation will help students who do not have traditional access to technology.
21st century learners need the tools of today to compete in today's dynamic world. With your help my students can be the first to pave the road to.........
