My Project

We started our first choir for fourth and fifth graders at my Title I school. The students are learning new music skills and developing their singing talents, but just as importantly are building a sense of community and solidarity.

Choir swag like t-shirts and hats will help promote our program and build it so we have more students participating in the future.

We meet after school weekly and learn songs from many cultures in various languages, play games, and develop vocally. It has been terrific to see them connecting and making new friends from other classes.
