My Students

Our school is a Title I school located in a rural area of Georgia. We are located in the middle of town which helps create a close knit community feel. Our entire school receives free breakfast and most of the students receive free or reduced lunch.

Pre-K students are naturally accepting of each other.

My students come from a wide range of backgrounds that makes our class a wonderfully diverse group of kids that love each other unconditionally. My class consists of 22 four-year olds who are eager to learn.

My Project

By having the Comfy Floor Seats, students will be able to choose where they would like to work in the room by moving their seat to a comfortable work area. When students are comfortable, they are more likely to be engaged and have a greater desire to learn.

Allowing the students to have a choice in their seating style and work space, we are guiding students to have control of their learning.

Giving children multiple options of seating will help to allow different learning styles to be met.

We want our children to be successful and to love school at an early age, as it sets the stage for their life long journey of learning.
