In our class, students are allowed to choose where they sit when working. We have typical chairs, a small sofa and crate seats that I have made. The stability balls will be used as a choice of seating in our class. Not only will they be used as choice seating for all students, but stability balls have been known to help students who need to move more than others. All Pre-K students like to move, but some students require more movement than others. Stability balls can help students focus and pay attention while providing their bodies with movement when learning. Research shows that active sitting helps to stimulate the brain and possibly improve memory.
