This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 2nd-grade students are from low-poverty families and attend a Title I school. These kids are special to me because they work hard to be the best they can be with the little resources given to them. Please help me give my students the materials needed to make the annual Lunar New Year celebration possible such as cardstock paper and an iPad. As we learn about the holidays around the world, our students will dive into everything about the Chinese New Year and learn all the facts to celebrate the New Year, the family, and prosperity. Our students are so excited to finally be able to celebrate and learn about the new Lunar Year.
