This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our low income kids with parents trying to work various hours to make ends meet at home usually end up going to daycare after school since no one is able to pick them up from school or watch them at home during the after school hours. This is where our super hero daycare workers come to the rescue for our families.

Our daycare kids need a place to hangout while they wait for their daycare vans to arrive for pickup at school.

Some kids wait for five minutes and some wait for twenty minutes to get picked up. The sun is hot and the rain is wet. It would be great to have a couple shade canopies where they can wait staying out of the hot sun and stay dry from any rain.

Please help our daycare kids have a shady area to hangout as they wait for their super hero daycare van to arrive.
