Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is made up of students that range 9th through 12th grade. Our students are impacted by various disabilities that requires them to have support in not only their academic areas, but in their ability to live as independently as possible.

The refrigerator will serve students as a way to store ingredients for small meals, as well as practice the essential skills surrounding safe food storage.

While we know that this isn't a typical request for a classroom, it is a really essential piece of instruction for our classroom.
