My Project

With students returning to learn from COVID-19, we can clearly see how students are struggling with their social skills and stamina in the classroom. As the school counselor, we have been getting more calls for students needing a break. I want my classroom to be inviting to our students so that they feel welcomed entering. My room is filled with old chairs, and I feel that having the bean bags would go a long way to make it more kid friendly. Keeping in line with COVID protocols, I would want to make sure that my room/furniture is sanitized. I also want to provide my students with incentives to keep trying to build up their stamina as they return to the learning environment.
