My Students

Our school is very successful in preparing students for college and success in life.

Yet, the achievements of our students are not limited to the classroom.

Indeed, they excel in sports.

Our school has fielded numerous state championship athletic teams, and the school is frequently a contender for the Ford Cup, an award given to the best athletic program in the state of Louisiana. I'm the athletics director.

We have 20 competitive sports teams including soccer, football, cross-country, golf, volleyball, tennis, swimming, basketball, softball, baseball, and indoor/outdoor track and field.

I personally coach girls' basketball and love it! I also teach PE and am the athletic director for the school. It's a lot of hats to juggle with!

My Project

We have a new concession stands on our field, and it is not yet outfitted with the cooking machines that are needed.

In particular, we need a slow cooker with three pans to keep the prepared food warm.

We could serve chili and cheese with our hotdogs, red beans and rice, gumbo or jumbalaya!

Our Key Club is in charge of organizing the concession stands. They work the schedules, they plan the food to be served and they prepare it and serve it. These are valuable skills to learn for young people!
