Help me give my students four Chromebooks to use during small group instruction to have access to online reading sites, read online literature, and participate in games for classroom reviews.

I teach reading to a group of 44 students. My school is rich in culture! It displays rich cultural histories of Afro-Caribbean immigrants who brought life to the area many years ago. Our city has evolved into a colorful beacon in Miami’s arts communities. Throughout the years, small businesses like celebrated record stores and authentic eateries have eased into the neighborhood, creating their own particular patchwork within our area.
We are home to about 30,000 residents of Haitian and Caribbean descent.
Our city is surrounded with Haitian pride! Our area is filled with beautiful memorials, delicious food, and many languages. My school is a special place, and my students are lucky to live, learn, and experience the heart of Little Haiti.
My students are in much need of technology. We need four Samsung Chromebooks to use during small group to get in required time using online math and reading sites, read online literature, and participate in games for classroom reviews.
This year my classroom does not have any laptops for my students to use during small group.
Because of this hassle, a large number of my students are unable to rotate to the technology center or get in their required minutes on an online reading program. We use an online program district wide as a progress monitoring tool for all students. It creates a learning plan for my students, and they are able to receive additional instruction online. This program is used with fidelity to close the achievement gap between my students who are working below grade level and my students who are working on grade level or above grade level.
To better assist my students, I am asking for four Samsung Chromebooks for my students to share while they are working in small groups. These Chromebooks will assist with student engagement and ensure my students are receiving additional instruction online, participating in teams while reviewing for an upcoming assessment using games, and reading online literature. Please grant our wish of receiving additional Chromebooks for our classroom.
