Cheering Isn't Just for the Sidelines!

Help me give my students the sports lockers needed for our cheerleading room. Currently, all of our student-athletes carry their game day and practice items with them throughout the day, as many do not have school lockers.

My Students

With over 1980 students at our school, there a select 45 that can be called an Eagle Cheerleader. Our student-athlete cheerleaders keep the community as the basis of their futures. They know at any moment a little mind is watching and ready to be just like them; so their actions and conduct is always on display. Their volunteering knows no bounds and their dedication to that can be seen during our community events. Our cheerleaders can be seen at community movie nights just to have fun with the place they call home.

Our cheerleaders have made visits to local elementary schools to host Pep Rallies before required at the end of the year testing.

As a group, the cheerleaders also annually volunteer at our local Family Expo. They truly respect and look forward to being a part of our great community. They place importance on forming bonds with their school, peers, community, and most importantly each other. With more than half of them aspiring to attend and cheer in college, they set no boundaries on their capabilities, willingness, or determination.

My Project

We aspire to have lockers for our team to store and lock cheerleading supplies. Supplies ranging from uniforms, pom-poms, signs, shoes, and pep rally goody bags, all which have been stolen in the past. Many of our student-athletes parents and coaches donate items for our student body to host pep rallies; we want to ensure we can continue these student-body events as well. In addition to security, lockers will allow uniforms to be kept safe as they are school property. The cheerleading program getting lockers allows the entire student body to continue to be a beneficiary of all the spirit and hard work the cheerleading team focuses on daily.

As with any team, we also aspire to advance athletically and tumbling mats will allow us to stay competitive.

We hope to obtain cheerleading tumbling mats to increase our tumbling athleticism.
