My Project

Cheerleading is about so much more than cheering on the sidelines. It teaches leadership, teamwork, responsibility, perseverance, and confidence—skills that extend far beyond the gym and into the classroom and community. As the cheerleading coach at our middle school, I have the privilege of working with students who are eager to represent our school with pride while developing lifelong character traits.

Many of our cheerleaders come from families facing financial challenges, making it difficult to purchase the equipment and supplies needed to participate fully.

My goal is to ensure that every student who wants to cheer has the opportunity, regardless of their family's financial circumstances.

This project will provide essential cheerleading equipment and practice materials, such as poms, megaphones, first aid supplies, water bottles, team bags, hair bows, spirit items, and other practice essentials. These resources will help our athletes practice safely, perform confidently, and proudly support our school throughout the year.

Cheerleading provides students with opportunities to build friendships, improve communication skills, develop leadership qualities, and strengthen their physical fitness. Every practice and every performance helps students grow in confidence while creating a positive school culture that encourages respect, school pride, and community involvement.
