This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At ILS this is our first year that we are fortunate enough to have a cheer team. Our girls are excited and ready to rock this year! With our school being Title I, a lot of these girls need the cheer team to feel that they are included and a part of a family and I can’t wait to provide that!

With this, I want to surprise the girls with their very own personalized cheer jackets!

With the vinyl, we can put their names on their jackets and our school logo. They can’t keep the uniforms our school is providing and I want them to have a little piece of the team they can take with them, even past this school year as a core positive memory at ILS!
