My students are third grade students. I love to have them excited when they enter on the fist day of school. Having necessary supplies helps them to participate and show what they know during our class time.
My students learn better when they can have hands-on experiences, see the visuals and participate with tools to write and show their work.
The ink and post-it notes will support the math games, vocabulary word walls, sorts for students to manipulate and bulletin board visuals. The clipboards, pencils and erasers will help them show their work and encourage them to participate. Birthday pencils and treasure box items excite them and help generate positive behavior.
The snacks are necessary, as students may be hungry as they are not used to being in school after our summer break. The space balls are a welcome gift to 3rd grade science. This will help generate excitement on the first day of school, so they are eager to learn their science.
Our school is in a low socio-economic community in Florida, so many of the students do not have much to bring to school. By donating to this project you will help improve and increase student attention, motivation and on task work.
