They have been exposed to a new and wonderful piece of technology that allows for them to create-- something that is often difficult to do with limited resources. Although we have been coming up with many ideas and how we can embed it within our curriculum, we started light with a gift to our Cub Class for the holidays. The students each picked a font and worked on the Cricut to create a bookmark to share with their kindergarten buddy. Each was personalized and truly made from their heart. They have since become intrigued with the endless possibilities that the machine can do from making shirts with the machine and easy press to cutting on wood. We are looking forward to continuing to use our curiosity to make the most out of this amazing gift.\r\n\r\nIt truly means the world to my 4th graders to have been gifted this amazing opportunity to explore their creative side; thank you again!\r\n\r\nMiss Karli Mudra","fullyFundedDate":1729709992141,"projectUrl":"project/let-the-machine-do-the-work/8485695/","projectTitle":"Let The Machine Do The Work","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mudra","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9128898_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1720752327695","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9128898"},{"teacherId":1140775,"projectId":8610806,"letterContent":"We are beyond grateful for receiving all of the materials that go along with this project! \r\n\r\nI redesigned my classroom in order to dedicate an entire wall and corner to the globe, maps, and information about our world.
