Help me give my students a safe space to explore and learn the amazing game of chess, and also grab a snack.

My Project

My Students will benefit from a chess club that helps them build critical thinking, problem-solving, patience, and focus in a fun and engaging way. Many of them have never had access to enrichment activities like chess. I want to introduce a chess club that will not only be fun, but also help build critical life skills at an early age.

Chess teaches students how to think ahead, solve problems, and stay focused.

It encourages patience, strategic thinking, and confidence- skills that will benefit them far beyond the classroom. For many of my scholars, this will be their first experience with structured, hands-on learning that challenges their minds in a new and exciting way.

With your support, I will be able to provide chess sets, beginner-friendly boards, engaging materials that make learning accessible and fun for young learners, as well as snacks. These resources will allow my students to explore, practice, and grow together while building a sense of teamwork and sportsmanship.

Your donation will help create a safe and inspiring space where students can learn, make mistakes, and celebrate their progress. A simple chess set can open the door to lifelong skills- and maybe even a lifelong passion.
