My Project

I love that my students love to read! In fact, we spend time in class reading every day.

One of the easiest ways to promote literacy is access, and my students access our classroom library on a daily basis.

Since my students are not intimidated by checking out books from our classroom library, I sometimes will have more than forty books checked out at one time.

I want to make sure that there are plenty of choices available to them. This project will not only add to our current selection, it will also support diverse voices and genres in an effort to reach even more students.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
