My Students

The student population at my school is comprised of 3rd through 5th grades. The intermediate grades are truly a treat to teach. They are independent "big kids" with the enthusiasm for learning evident in "little kids." Our students love and respect their teachers.

The students in my location have very limited background knowledge and experiences.

We are located in an area with a higher number of public housing and poverty than compared to other cities in our part of Alabama. Students struggle to fill gaps while learning on grade level.

My Project

‘Tis the season of spreading cheer! Help me spread cheer to my teachers and students with this project. Any classroom teacher is always appreciative of chart paper. This project is written for the 21 classroom teachers, 3 special area teachers, 5 resource teachers, and nearly 500 students at our school.

Everyone in the building will benefit from your contributions!

Provided in this project is a large and small chart tablet for every general classroom, special needs classroom, and resource rooms. These charts provide teachers and students with a blank canvas in which to record learning and display essential information.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
