My Students

Many of our students are English language learners from hard-working families who immigrated from their native countries. We live on a small barrier island where we are grateful for our tight-knit community and various cultures. Our students are taught to celebrate their unique cultures and learn to respect and embrace their differences.

As a language immersion class, my partner teacher and I strive to create open-minded students who view the world through a global lens.

We are dedicated to creating students who will truly make a difference in the world.

My Project

Please help me give my students large sticky chart paper to complete group work and anchor charts. My students love to show their work on large chart paper. They stick this large paper on the wall and teach each other during math lessons. The students love using colorful markers to complete their work. This is a way I let the kids teach themselves, which motivates them while learning. We have used these materials in the past, but recently we have run out of these supplies. We are also asking for tape to hang student work as well as to divide our white boards. Thank you for your consideration and support!
