it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Chart paper is the magic ingredient to our interactive lessons. Everyday we use chart paper for anchor charts that display new concepts. Students use chart paper to get up out of their seats and show what they know.
Chart paper can be found hanging all over our classroom space for different academic and social purposes.
For example, students might use chart paper to "write the room" and brainstorm words with different beginning blends, draw equivalent fractions using visual models, or chart their daily emotions. Working with several different groups throughout the school day means that I go through a lot of chart paper. It may seem like it is just a simple "basic supply" but it helps to promote academic and social/emotional success in the classroom. This project will ensure that I have enough chart paper for all of my groups this school year.
