Chart Paper and Books

Help me give my students some picture books and a novel to read. In addition, i need chart paper and markers for me to make anchor charts.

My Students

Like other 4th graders across the United States, my students are doing distance learning. We use Google Classroom to share links to a variety or websites, programs, and other learning resources.

While many of my students are able to access the internet on a device, many are sharing the device with brothers, sisters, and parents.

Others have little access and are picking up packets of printed materials.

My Project

My 4th graders are learning from home. During our Zoom meetings, it would be helpful for me to have chart paper and good-quality markers to make anchor charts and write on during my lessons. I can use it to write up an agenda, work out math problems, and so many other things.

In addition, I need some more good books to read.

I've included some picture books by Juana Martinez-Neal to add more diverse titles to my collection. A novel called "Indian No More" will fit with our study of indigenous people of the United States.
