Charging Toward the Future!

My Students

In our elementary school, we have around 400 students. This is a brand new elementary school. We opened the doors for the first time in August 2021. The ethnicity is diverse, and we have around 28% free or reduced-price lunch students. We are also super-proud to have a high military population.

I call my amazing fourth-grade students the Smarties.

This is a great way to create an atmosphere of family and improve self-esteem. I believe if they hear it enough, they will start to believe it. What's better than hearing on a daily basis that you are a Smartie?

My Project

My Smarties need an iPad cart. Currently my Smarties are plugging in their iPads all throughout the classroom They are on the floor, tables, desks, where ever they can find a spot.

An iPad cart will help my students keep their iPads safe and get them fully charged for daily use.

Currently we use our iPads on a daily basis. My Smarties have a hard time keeping track of all the charging cords and keeping the iPads charged for everyday use. Cords are lost on a daily basis and so much time is lost tracking down cords or waiting for iPads to charge to use during a variety of lessons.
