My Students

My school is on a military base and serves children in grades K-8. Like most military kids, my young ones are all too familiar with deployed parents and the challenges associated with moving to new schools and making new friends. Despite the hardships they face, my students push themselves every day to do their best.

My kids are eager to learn, and they absolutely shine when given new opportunities to grow.

They are a kind, funny, and resilient group who deserve the tools they need to succeed.

My Project

My school district has adopted i-Ready, which provides personalized student instruction targeted to students’ unique areas of need to boost achievement.

Since my students will be using Chromebooks to access this amazing resource, we will need headphones, a charging station with cables, and computer mice.

With all of these resources, my students will be able to explore, reinforce, and learn new skills by playing games, accessing personalized lessons, and taking assessments which provide detailed and immediate data on every student. This technology will particularly support struggling students by providing additional interventions necessary to help them succeed. All of my students, however, will gain confidence as they learn and grow with these tools!
