My Students

I teach wonderful fifth graders who are eager to learn and grow to make a difference in the world around them. My class is diverse and is learning each day how to work together as a team. A large portion of my students are faced with obstacles on a daily basis, in and out of the classroom, and come to school to learn and become better citizens. Many students do not have a positive attitude towards school and I want to change that.

As an educator, it is my personal goal to provide the best education possible for all of my students, on an educational and personal level.

I want to prepare my students for the world around them and provide them with knowledge and experiences that would allow them to be better citizens in and out of the classroom.

Many of my students strive for attention, mostly negative attention, and I want to be able to show them that being a model citizen and a good friend can make the classroom, school, community, and the world a much better place through reading and education.

My Project

This charging station will help students be responsible for their device and knowing it is safe. When students have a proper place to store and charge their technology devices, they can rest assure that the device will be ready for them to use during the next class session.

When students know their technology is properly charging and stored, they do not need to stress that it will be running out of battery charge when they are using it or be damaged while stored away.

With technology being expensive and needing proper care, this charging cart will help the longevity of all the devices and be able to be used by other classes in the future.
