My students are 5th graders that are eager to learn and these Chromebooks will be used to help students become familiar with using technology and become successful 21st Century citizens. Many state tests are done on a computer, so having students practice daily with these HP Chromebooks will have students feeling more confident, comfortable, and allowing testing anxiety to slowly decrease. Students do not have to leave the classroom to explore the world anymore, they can actually click a few buttons and away they go. Not only can my students learn about the world around them now, but can travel back in time to learn about the history of the world around them. These Chromebooks will be used to help teach Math and science in a way to allow students to do research and explore the topics in more depth.
