it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My sixth-graders are bright, hardworking students at a Title I school. Every day, they use their Lenovo 300e laptops to read, write, solve math problems, and collaborate on projects. Technology is a lifeline for them, but too often their laptops die in the middle of class. With few outlets in our classroom and not enough chargers, students lose valuable learning time waiting for a turn to power up.
This project will provide 12 reliable 65W USB-C laptop chargers and two surge-protected charging towers.
Together, these will create a safe and organized classroom charging station so every laptop can stay powered. My goal is to remove barriers to learning by ensuring that technology works when students need it most. My students are special because they show up ready to learn despite challenges outside of school, and they deserve the same access to working devices as any other classroom. With your support, they’ll never miss out on learning simply because their laptop ran out of power.
