My Project
I have a wonderful group of curious, engaged, and excited learners in first grade! I always focus on how to help my students reading below grade level, and have lots of tools to help them. However, as I reflect on my practice, I also want to provide enrichment for the students reading above grade level!
I am asking for different sets of chapter books, as well as supplies such as binders, highlighters, bookmarks and a TPT gift card for discussion starters and activities.
My goal is to kickstart a book club in my higher leveled reading groups. These materials would allow my students to delve deeper into their love of reading and form stronger connections with each other with what they discuss.
Binders, bookmarks, and highlighters would help keep the students organized. A TPT gift card would allow me to buy activities and discussion starters so the students could engage in the book clubs. Lamination sheets would allow me to laminate these products to use with future students.
