Chapter Books for Middle Schoolers

My Project

Do you love to read chapter books? Our middle school students do. Some of my middle school students are looking for new books in our school's library. It is hard to get middle schoolers to read. They are requesting the Divergent series, the Shadow Children series, and other chapter books that interest them. We are trying to change our school community into more reading with middle schoolers. They haven't been doing much reading, but now they are requesting more books to read!

Reading books will help our students improve their fluency and comprehension skills.

Students need a lot of practice with these skills. I want them to improve these skills by reading books that interest them. They also use reading as a mental break to escape from their daily routines. Thank you!
