My Students
My class this year is excited to be in our new building! This full of life group of first and second graders will be attending school in our brand new building, after spending the last two years in an interim site. They are so excited!
This curious group loves to interact with each other and their environment. They love technology, but learn best when they can physically handle the materials. They are compassionate about their friends, and love to laugh.
My Project
Remember when you were ready to read chapter books? That feeling of excitement! You had spent years watching the "big kids" get to read them, wondering when you would get to join the club. Then the day arrives, and you are ready! You don't want an e-reader, you want a real book with a book mark to show how far you have read. My students will be reaching this big day in their young lives this year, and we need chapter books at their reading levels to help them fulfill this dream. These chapter books will encourage a life long love of reading.
